Chapman pitches a complete game, allowing just four hits and two walks, while striking out five. He also finishes 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs scored. Thorpe, which finishes the season with an 11-2 record, receives a two-run double from Scott Lazorick and an RBI double off the bat of Rich Rothfuss.
