State police at Frackville - Crashes

State police at Frackville reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 4:02 p.m. on June 23 at the intersection of Valley and Highridge Park roads, in Cass Township. Troopers identified the drivers involved as Dominic F. Warmuth, 23, of Pottsville, driving a 2009 Ford Escape, and Justin E. Harris, 29, also of Pottsville, driving a 2003 Buick Century. Troopers did not provide any details of the crash but noted no one was injured and Warmuth was cited for a stop sign violation.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:02 a.m. on June 25 along Route 183 in Wayne Township. Troopers said John T. Davis, 28, of Frackville, was driving a 2021 Ford Explorer northbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. His vehicle struck the deer. Troopers said the vehicle sustained no damages and Davis was not injured.

• A crash occurred at 1:33 a.m. on June 21 along Interstate 81 in Kline Township. Troopers said Aaron Sprague, 40, of Central Square, New York, was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue southbound and swerved to avoid a deer crossing the road. Sprague lost control of the vehicle and it went onto the berm where it struck a guide rail, causing disabling damages.

Sprague was not injured.
