FILLIES SECOND IN HOLY FAMILY TOURNEY Marian finished in second place in the Holy Family Girls Basketball Tournament that was recently held in Nazareth. During the round-robin portion of the eight-team tournament, the Fillies posted victories over North Pocono, Nazareth, Parkland, Minersville and Whitehall, while losing to Allentown Central Catholic and Easton. Marian's 5-2 record earned it a spot in the tourney's semifinal round where it avenged its loss to Central Catholic with a 41-32 victory. Easton then beat the Fillies 49-33 in the title game.
