Schuylkill crashes

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes in Schuylkill County roadways.

• A two-vehicle crash occurred at 8:08 p.m. on June 8 at the intersection of routes 895 and 183, in Wayne Township. Troopers said Angel M. Etherington, 18, of Pottsville, was driving a 2005 Saturn Vue westbound on 895 and came to the intersection with 183 while William F. Treatch, 53, of Tuscon, Arizona, driving a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu, was northbound on 183 and came to the intersection with 895.

Troopers said Etherington went through the intersection into the path of Treatch and a collision occurred.

No one was injured. Both vehicles were towed.

Etherington was cited for obedience to traffic control devices.

• A hit-and-run crash occurred on June 9 at 12:46 p.m. off Route 61 in the Cressona Mall parking lot in North Manheim Township. Troopers said a 2020 Toyota Corolla was parked when the rear bumper and passenger rear tire were damaged by another vehicle whose driver left the scene without giving information. No injuries were reported.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:44 p.m. on June 18 along Route 895 in South Manheim Township. Troopers said Bradley R. Renninger, 33, of Minersville, was driving a 1999 Mazda Millenia westbound and lost control on a right curve. The vehicle left the road, struck a speed limit sign and left tire marks through a yard.

Renninger fled the scene but was later found changing a flat tire on his vehicle on Route 183.

He was cited for the crash and leaving the scene.
