During commencement ceremonies in May 2022, Lehigh University conferred 1,092 bachelor’s degrees, 394 master’s degrees and 33 doctoral degrees. Of the more than 1,500 graduates, degree recipients came from 41 states and 42 countries outside of the United States.

Local students include:

• Thera Hibbler of Lehighton, Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry degree with a major in pharmaceutical chemistry

• Kevin Laudano of Walnutport with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree with a major in computer science with high honors

• Sydney Powell of Tamaqua with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in health, medicine, and society with high honors and a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree with a major in biology with high honors

• Casey Rother of Tamaqua with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in joint international relations and economics
