During commencement ceremonies in May 2022, Lehigh University conferred 1,092 bachelor’s degrees, 394 master’s degrees and 33 doctoral degrees. Of the more than 1,500 graduates, degree recipients came from 41 states and 42 countries outside of the United States.

Local students include:

• Amy Gardiner of Summit Hill graduated with a Master of Education degree with a major in special education.

• Joshua Gordon of Tamaqua graduated with a Master of Engineering degree with a major in structural engineering.

• Aaron Raymar of Slatington graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in business administration.

• Karissa Schmidt of Walnutport graduated with a Master of Education degree with a major in special education.

• Seth Slavin of Saylorsburg graduated with a Master of Science degree with a major in mechanical engineering.
