Together with Veterans NEPA has announced the upcoming events that will take place in the area for veterans.

Pop-up veteran booth

The next pop-up veteran information booth will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on June 28 at the new St. Luke’s Carbon Campus.

Veterans can learn about services that are available to them through the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office, sign up for the veteran food box program, receive a complimentary gym pass for the new St. Luke’s gym; and register for upcoming events.

Additional pop-up booths will take place on July 26 and Aug. 23.

Vietnam veteran Coffee Club

The next Coffee and Camaraderie event will take place at 4:30 p.m. on July 8 at Kennedy Park, Lansford.

The event will also include music in the park and a picnic and refreshments before the music begins.

Vietnam veterans and their spouses who would like to attend should call the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office at 570-325-3986 or email cleclair@carboncounty.net no later than July 1.

Those who attend should bring a lawn chair.
