Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St. Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 8:30 a.m. is the contemporary service followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. and then traditional service at 11 a.m. You can worship in person or in parking lot by tuning the radio station to 104.3 FM or Facebook Live.

Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. is prayer and praise. Plus a special service will be held on June 29. Our own Pastor Lela Hartranft will be leaving Faith Alive as she is assigned to Emmanuel UMC in Allentown. We will have a Farewell Reception for her from 6-7 p.m. with light refreshments followed by a Healing Service with the lesson presented by Pastor Hartranft.

Other events for June:

June 26: Will be one combined service at 10:30 a.m. followed by Faith Alive’s annual church picnic.

ABC Food Pantry is always accepting food or money donations to help feed the needy in our community and within our church family.

Micah’s Backpack is also always accepting food or money to help feed the needy young students of the Palmerton Area School District. We proudly are finishing off our 10th year of helping these students. For a list of the food items needed, please call the church.

June’s Mission of the Month is The Gathering Place in Weissport. Their mission is to keep this facility open for use by faith-based groups needing space to do their mission work, create programs of outreach that will support the needs of any and all people within the reaches of Weissport and other local communities.
