Marian has advanced to the semifinals of the Holy Family Girls’ Basketball Tournament.

The Fillies (5-2) will play Allentown Central Catholic (5-2) today at 1:05 p.m. in the second semifinal. Minersville (4-3) and Easton (5-2) will meet in the other semifinal at 12 p.m.

The finals are scheduled to take place at 3 p.m.

On June 18, Marian posted a 34-11 win over North Pocono, with Kerrigan Digris scoring 10 points in the win. Later that day, the Fillies topped Nazareth 50-11, with Fatikha Tikhtova recording 11 points. They closed out afternoon with a 49-7 victory over Parkland, with Tikhtova again recording 11 points.

Central Catholic posted a 41-40 win over Marian on June 20, but the Fillies responded with a 58-55 victory over Minersville later that day with Tikhtova posting 13 points.

Marian rolled past Whitehall 57-24 on June 21, with Carly Minchhoff recording a team-best 12 points, before falling to Easton 45-16 to finish with a 5-2 mark.
