Schuylkill County Judge Charles M. Miller has sentenced the following people after they pleaded guilty.

Allen D. DeKorte, 42, of Lehighton, was charged by West Penn Township Police Chief James E. Bonner with stalking, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and reckless driving on July 27, 2021.

He pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment. All remaining charges were dropped.

Judge Miller sentenced DeKorte to 18 months on probation, and to pay court costs and fees. He is to have no contact with his victim.

William Yalowey, 49, of Scranton, was charged by former Tamaqua Police Chief Henry D. Woods with passing bad checks on July 18, 2014.

He pleaded guilty, and Miller sentenced him to 12 months on probation and to pay court costs and fees.

Yalowey must also repay $2,345 to his victim.
