At a meeting held in the Coaldale Borough Hall last evening, representatives of Lansford, Coaldale and Summit Hill agreed that a sewer authority must first be established before a joint sewage disposal system can be planned. The three boroughs will request ordinances creating a three-community authority.

Robert Rybarczyk, executive of the Carbon County Planning Commission, addressed the representatives, saying in order to apply for advance planning grants from the federal governments it would be necessary for an authority to be planned.
