June 21, 1984 - Eric Craig pitches a two-hitter and Scott Hillegass drills a home run to help lift Palmerton to a 7-1 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over Fountain Hill. Craig tosses five scoreless innings before an error in the sixth ruins his shutout bid. Hillegass collects three hits in the contest, including a three-run homer in the third, and adds a steal of home in the fourth. The winners also receive two hits, one an RBI triple, from Jim Nemeth. Rod Paules chips in with a pair of hits, while Todd Lichtenwalter contributes an RBI single.
