June 20, 1970 - Mark Trusa collects three hits and scores three runs to help Nesquehoning post an 8-4 Panther Valley Babe Ruth comeback win over Lansford. The winner, coached by Bob Fritzinger, trail 3-1 in the fifth inning, but score two runs in the home fifth and explode for five in the sixth to pull out the victory. Frank Mauer scatters five hits to gain the pitching win, and helps his own cause with a hit and a run. Nesquehoning also receives a hit and a run from both Bill Richards and Mike Lopata. For Lansford, Rich Gorka finishes with two hits and three runs.
