Pleasant Valley graduate Luke Valdevit recently wrapped up a strong outdoor season for the East Stroudsburg University track and field team.

Valdevit recorded an eighth-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:55.48 on the second day of the 2022 PSAC Outdoor Championships held at Millersville’s Biemesderfer Stadium.

In the final event of the weekend on Day 3, Valdevit closed the conference meet with a 24th-place finish in the 5000m, with the Pleasant Valley High School product crossing the finish line with a time of 15:58.38.

Valdevit notched his third conference qualifying time on his way to a seventh-place finish in the 1500m at 4:03.74 at Lehigh’s Carol & John Covert Classic earlier this season.

On his way to a fifthplace finish in the 800m, Valdevit clocked a time of 2:01.10 running in the fourth heat at the event.
