Palmerton managed just three hits against Bangor pitching and dropped a 4-1 Lehigh Valley Connie Mack decision.

Trey Sterling had two of the hits for the Blue Bombers, while Ashton Solt accounted for the other one. Sterling also tossed four innings of scoreless relief, striking out five while giving up just two hits and no walks.

The winners opened the scoring with a run in the first inning, and added three more in the second to give Labarre all the support he would need. Labarre pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing an unearned run and two walks while fanning six.

The loss dropped Palmerton to 4-6.
