Northern Valley and Lower Macungie battled to a tie in a Lehigh Valley Legion contest on Wednesday.


Lower Macungie-Northern Valley

Northern Valley overcame an early deficit, but played Lower Macungie to a 6-6 tie in Lehigh Valley Legion action.

Cole Hausman had a triple and three RBIs for Northern Valley, which scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game. Wesley George (run scored), Nicholas Scott, Tyler Fenstermaker (run scored) and Nicholas Bogert also had hits.

Jackson Merk (RBI, run scored) and Joseph Cook (two runs scored) each had two hits for Lower Macungie.

North Parkland-Carbon

North Parkland rolled to a 12-3 win over Carbon in a Lehigh Valley Senior Legion contest.

Sean Rivera led the charge for North Parkland, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored for North Parkland, which trailed 1-0 heading into the fourth inning. Joseph Algard added two hits, including a double, while Logan Sicher (three runs scored) and Allan Burgos each doubled with two RBIs.

Austin Greene doubled and scored a run for the Monarchs.

So. Parkland-Palmerton

Five runs over the final two innings lifted South Parkland to a 10-5 win over Palmerton in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action.

Seth Rohrbach was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored for South Parkland, which scored two runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead before adding three more in the top of the seventh. Muhammad Curtis added a double and two RBIs, while William Dobil collected two hits with an RBI and two runs scored for the winners. Mackaden Parsell also had a hit, two RBIs and a run scored.

Nate Stroup was 2-for-2 with a run scored and two walks for Palmerton, which tied the game at 5-5 with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to erase a five-run deficit. Mason George had a hit and two RBIs.

Stripes and Spikes-Tamaqua

Stripes and Spikes picked up a 9-3 win over Tamaqua in a Schuylkill-Berks Legion non-league contest.

Chase Petrilyak doubled with a run scored, while Lachlan Segedy had two hits with three RBIs and a run scored for Stripes and Spikes.

Steven Hoffman had a hit and two RBIs for the Blue Sox, while Timmy Fritzinger doubled and scored a run. Ryan Vecolitis also had a hit.
