June 15, 1975 - Lehighton sweeps Reeders in a Pocono Mountain League doubleheader behind the excellent pitching of Brian Metzger and Denny Rehrig. In the first game, Metzger tosses all nine innings and gives up just five hits and one run in a 6-1 victory. He also helps his own cause with a pair of hits. Tommy Mullen collects three hits and knocks in three runs, while Jim Gerber adds a pair of hits and two RBIs. In the second contest, Rehrig gives up just one run and six hits in six innings in a 4-1 win. He also slugs a two-run homer. Connie Rehrig chips in with an RBI single.
