Palmerton exploded for nine runs in the second inning en route to an 11-6 win over Lehigh Bethlehem in a Lehigh Valley Senior Connie Mack contest.

Mason George led the Bombers with two hits, three RBIs and three runs scored. Daniel Lucykanish added a triple, two walks and scored twice. Derek King (run scored), Trey Stering (run scored) and AJ Borger each had a hit and an RBI in the win. Sterling earned the win on the mound, tossing five solid innings, allowing four hits while striking out five with just two walks.

Moore Township rolled to an 8-2 win over Franklin Township on Monday.

Brayden Rader (walk, two runs scored) and Aiden Maltese (walk, run scored) both had two singles for Moore. Michael Jordan tossed five solid innings on the mound, striking out four to earn the win, while Maltese (three strikeouts) and Tommy Hensel (one strikeout) pitched two scoreless innings of relief.

John Light was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and two RBIs for Franklin. Cameron Gable added a single and a double, while Dawson Keiser and Derek Behler both singled, walked and scored a run.

Southern Lehigh-Northern Valley

Southern Lehigh erupted for six runs in the top of the eighth inning to come away with a 12-8 win over Northern Valley in a Lehigh Valley Senior Legion contest.

Ben Burgos was 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored for Southern Lehigh. Justin Balliet (run scored) and Janssen Brown (two runs scored) each added a hit and two RBIs in the win.

Cole Hausman was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored for Northern Valley, which trailed 6-0 after three innings. Wesley George also added a pair of hits and two runs scored.

Orioles-Berlinsville Braves

A big third inning helped the Orioles cruise to an 11-3 win over the Berlinsville Braves in a Blue Mountain League contest.

Dom Bayo was 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and three runs scored for the Orioles (9-3), who are tied with the Northern Yankees for first place in the BML. Tommy Carpenter was 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, two runs scored and a walk, while Zach Merkle went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Owen Fischl (run scored) and Zach Day (two runs scored) both had two hits for the Braves (5-6), who fell behind 6-1 after the top of the third inning. Colin Houck added a double and an RBI, while Jack Chapman collected a double and two RBIs.
