Walnutport Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Approved Bellview Pumps AFP 1 in the amount of $143,431 for South Lincoln Avenue Community Development Block Grant project.

• Agreed to bid out repair work on South Canal Street.

• Approved Bellview Pump to replace inlets and storm junctions using contingency money.

• Agreed to have a dead tree removed from borough property at a cost of $1,800.

• Agreed to allow Walnutport fire police to assist the Borough of Palmerton with traffic control at the Palmerton Pace-Makers Rolling Cruise on Aug. 13.
