On May 28, my husband and I stopped in at The Bowmanstown Diner to grab a bite to eat after attending a viewing of a friend. There weren’t any booths left so we shared a table with a young couple. We didn’t really speak to each other, just said we would be sharing their table and a few other pleasantries.

To our complete surprise as we were ready to leave, our waitress said the young woman who sat with us paid for our meal. Not sure if it was due to my husband wearing his Vietnam Veteran Navy baseball hat during the Memorial Day weekend, or just a kind gesture, but we hope she/they see this letter as we would like to thank them for doing such a kind deed and it was very much appreciated.
