Great sadness

Editor,

It was with great sadness that our country again witnessed the terrible slaughter of children by a distraught youth.

Immediately after the incident President Biden, the liberal media and Hollywood elites cunningly redirected the public’s attention to gun control, hiding the fact of how their actions played a major role in it.

Liberals despise Christianity; like Frankenstein, socialists’ policies in America have become a laboratory for the creation of the monsters that are turning against us.

In 1933, Antonio Gramsci, an expert on Marxist theory, gave the blueprint; “Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity … in the new world order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of the schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society. The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born; now is the time of monsters.”

Our youth live in a laboratory of constant moral contradiction; they live in a society where good and evil coexist, where many live in a “fantasy” believing there is no need for God’s laws and wherever “fantasy” rules, insanity follows.

We murder children in the womb, accept homosexual marriage, satanic statues are placed at government buildings with some public schools forming Satan clubs.

Police departments defunded, authority disrespected as radical communists groups (BLM) burn cities and pillage without any consequences because of liberal judges and governors.

And worst of all, Catholic churches being ransacked; tabernacles stolen and the burning of the Blessed Eucharist; the precious body and blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

Rarely considered is these shooters played video games, games like “Grand Thief Auto” and “Call of Duty” which shape their immature minds for hours at a time in an unreal “fantasy” world of bloodshed and mass murder; games that diminish the empathy the youth should have toward others.

St. Augustine, a Catholic theologian, wisely observed, man’s freewill gives rise to two cities on earth: the City of God, those who strive to practice virtue by doing God’s will, or the City of Man, those who selfishly and immorally seek out their own pleasure. The one produces saints while the other produces monsters and beasts!
