A bingo event at the Lansford Pool will help raise money for ongoing renovation efforts.

Pool Party Bingo will take place June 14 at 5 p.m. from 5-8:30 p.m. on the pool grounds, 430 W. Patterson St.

Tickets are $25 and include 20 games.

The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development and the Lansford Friends of Recreation are partnering to host the event. Tickets are available for sale at the event from 5-5:30 p.m., or at carboncountychamber.org.

Extra boards, special game boards, basket raffle tickets and snacks will also be available.

The pool has been closed since 2015 due to water leaks. However the Friends of Lansford Recreation have recently been working on projects aimed at fixing the pool leaks, and renovating the snack bar.
