The site and time have been released for Palmerton’s PIAA Class 3A semifinal softball matchup against Lewisburg.

The Blue Bombers will face the District 4 champions on Monday at 4 p.m. at Central Columbia High School in Bloomsburg.

Palmerton, the District 11 runners-up, defeated Philadelphia Academy Charter 13-2 in the opening round of the state playoffs before edging Susquenita by a 6-5 score in the quarterfinal round this past Thursday.

The Green Dragons, meanwhile, shut out District 11 champion Palisades 14-0 in the first round and knocked off Kutztown 7-2 in the quarters.

The Bombers enter the contest with a record of 17-9, while Lewisburg currently has a mark of 18-3.

The winner will play either Avonworth or Bald Eagle in the championship game at Penn State on Thursday.
