There has been a question on my mind for quite a while which came to a head when I noticed an announcement in a recent edition of the paper concerning the Switchback Railroad.

I believe that September of 2023 will be the 90th anniversary of the end of the engineering marvel and a time of recollection.

At 89 years old, how many of us are there with a memory of a “round trip?” Time marches on …
