June 4, 2014 - The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference holds its initial press conference to introduce its new logo, officers, member schools and upcoming schedules. Pleasant Valley, the lone Times News area school, is part of the new league along with five other Mountain Valley Conference schools. Each of the 18 schools are represented at the press conference by two student-athletes. The Bears’ representatives are Abby Rosella and Nyiem Nevarez. Lehighton, a former member of the MVC, left the conference earlier to join the Schuylkill League.
