A Carbon County man is facing criminal charges in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said on May 25 at 3:54 p.m. a 20-year-old woman from Effort entered the barracks and reported damages to her vehicle, a 2007 Hyundai. During the investigation it was determined that the woman and Vincent Bosco, 22, of Jim Thorpe, had an argument.

After the altercation Bosco then took his cellphone and struck the front windshield of the victim’s vehicle, causing damages.

He was issued a citation for criminal mischief. Damages to the windshield were estimated at $300.
