In other matters Wednesday, Schuylkill County commissioners:
• Approved a resolution to apply for the 2022 Emergency Solutions Grant and amount of $372,471 on behalf of Schuylkill Women In Crisis and Servants To All.
In a related move, they approved an amendment to a contract with M&L Associates for $4,000 for preparation of the state Department of Community and Economic Development Emergency Solutions Grant application.
• Approved seeking Requests For Qualifications from qualified community development consulting forms for the CDBG program for fiscal years 2023-2025.
• Approved a vehicle maintenance contract with Schuylkill Transportation System for maintenance and repair services to county vehicles at a cost plus 15 percent basis for parts and fuel at a labor rate of $48.20 per hour, July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2024.
• Approved Children & Youth Services Agency to purchase a service agreement with Avanco International Inc., Clifton, Virginia, for the child accounting and profile system (CAPS) applications, services, and maintenance, with annual unit prices of $53,751.32 for the CAPS application and $13,732.22 for CWIS maintenance from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.
• In personnel moves, Ryan Culbert of Pine Grove will serve as an unpaid intern in the Public Defender Office for up to 150 hours beginning July 11;
Megan Parker, St. Clair, was promoted to Supervisor, Adult Probation 2 at a wage of $30.57 an hour;
Children & Youth Agency caseworker 2 employees Desiree Malho, Butler Township, and Caitlin Holden, Valley View resigned their positions;
Election Bureau Clerk Morgan Rupert also resigned.
