Northern Valley picked up a victory in Lehigh Valley Legion action on Tuesday, while Berlinsville posted a win in Blue Mountain League play.

Emmaus-Northern Vy.

A big fifth inning lifted Northern Valley to an 8-2 win over Emmaus in Lehigh Valley Senior Legion action.

Wesley George (run scored) had two doubles and an RBI, while Zachory Russo (two runs scored) doubled and tripled for his two hits with an RBI for Northern Valley, which broke open a 2-2 game with six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Andrew Diehl also doubled with an RBI and two walks.

Nathan Sauter had three hits for Emmaus.

Carbon-Allentown

Allentown topped Carbon 9-6 in Lehigh Valley Senior Legion action.

Aaron Schneider finished with two hits, including a double, with two runs scored and a pair of walks for Allentown. Eduardo Rivas and Chandler Rodriguez both added two hits with a pair of RBIs and a run scored in the win.

Garrett Lienhard had a hit and two RBIs for the Monarchs. Michael Yeakel also had a hit and an RBI.

Martins Creek-Berlinsville

The Berlinsville Braves posted a 9-7 win over Martins Creek in Blue Mountain League action.

Logan Wentz had three hits - including a two-run homer in the third inning - for the Braves (2-3). Noah Snisky was 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Shane Fillman doubled among his two hits and knocked in three runs with two runs scored and two stolen bases.

Matt Monti had a grand slam in the first inning for the Creekers (1-5) and finished with five RBIs. Carson Freeman also added a solo homer in the second inning.
