L.B. Morris Elementary School in Jim Thorpe will once again be performing their L.B. Morris Country Dance. It’s been two years since the last dance due to the pandemic.

Kindergarten, first, second and third grade students will be performing line dances and square dancing for their parents on June 3. Raindate is June 6. The show will take place on the Jim Thorpe Area Turf Football Field at the Jim Thorpe High School.

The gates will open at 12:15 p.m. for parents and the show will begin at 1 p.m. The show will last approximately an hour.

The students have been practicing for a few weeks for this country dance and will be in country attire.
