State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents at Schuylkill County locations:

• A unlocked and abandoned home at East Miners Street and East Foster Avenue, in Coaldale, was entered but there were no reports of anything taken. The report was made on May 2 at 6:50 p.m. The property is owned by DET Lehigh Real Estate LLC, of Dresher, Montgomery County.

• On May 5 at 5:14 p.m. troopers investigated a criminal mischief incident. A 26-year-old man from New Philadelphia reported someone scratched the driver’s side of his 2012 Jeep Compass.

• Troopers said at 1:30 a.m. on May 4 someone wearing a Scream mask used a hammer to smash the front door of the A to Z Food Mart, located at 100 N. Main St., Shenandoah. Once inside the person attempted to burglarize the store before running off. Troopers did not indicate if anything was taken.
