SJRS student wins peace poster contest

Quentin Petschauer, eighth-grade student at St. Jerome Regional School in Tamaqua, placed first in the Lions Club District 14-U Peace Poster contest for 2021-2022. The poster contest is an annual worldwide competition for children aged 11 to 13, encouraging them to express their vision of world peace through art. This past year’s theme was “We are all connected.” Presenting Quentin with his award is Stephanie Kaye and Beverly Ogrodnick representing the McAdoo Lions Club who sponsored the contest.
