State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following cases:
• On April 30 at 1:12 a.m. troopers responded to Rose Drive in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for an altercation. It was learned that Nicholas Burke, 24, of Saylorsburg, and a 55-year-old woman from Blakeslee, were involved in an argument that turn physical. As a result Burke was charged with harassment - physical contact.
• Troopers said on April 19 they began an investigation into a firearm act violation at Dunkelberger’s Sports Outfitter, located along Route 209, Brodheadsville, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The purchase was denied. James Holler, 26, of Saylorsburg, was charged with firearm sale or transfer.
• A Monroe County resident is facing charges following an incident that occurred on April 24 at 4:37 p.m. in the 2600 block of Rising Hill Drive, in Chestnuthill Township.
James Dingle, 48, of Saylorsburg, has been charged with simple assault/harassment. He is charged with assaulting a 35-year-old woman from Saylorsburg.
