Lehighton Borough Council approved the following on Monday:

• Final payment request of $10,532 for Blight Remediation Demolition Project.

• Keystone Consulting Engineers payment of $1,195 for the Blight Remediation Grant.

• The donation of the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD from Lehigh Fire Company No. 1 to the Lehighton Fire Department.

• The request from Lehighton Water Authority to refrain from paving any streets until the upcoming project is complete.

• Former borough police Chief Brian Biechy to purchase his service weapon at full replacement cost.

• Jacob Hoffner to fill a vacancy on the Shade Tree Commission.

• An ordinance to regulate and require a bulk refuse permit.

• KME taking the new ladder truck to the Harrisburg Fire Expo May 20-21.

• Zion Church to hold its annual Country Fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 24, with rain dates of 11-5 Sept. 25 or 8-3 Oct. 1.

• The seasonal employee list for Baer Memorial Swimming Pool 2022 season.
