Panther Valley news for April 29, 2022

Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced the menu for the week of May 2-6 is:

Monday: Baked ravioli, broccoli and cauliflower, grapes, jello or turkey pita

Tuesday: Meatball hoagie, potato wedges, vegetable blend, angel food cake or crispy chicken salad

Wednesday: Lemon butter chicken, boiled potatoes, cauliflower and peas, pudding or egg salad sandwich

Thursday: Pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, green beans, fruit salad or turkey salad

Friday: Broccoli cheese soup, open hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, cookie or Italian sandwich

The center also announced upcoming events:

Senior Games practice on May 2 at 10 a.m.; Bingo on May 3 at 10:45 a.m.; Women’s Pool on May 4 at 10:30 a.m.; Senior Games practice on May 5 at 10 a.m.; Po-Keeno on May 6 at 11 a.m.

Mother’s Day Tea on May 9 at 10:30 a.m.; speaker from the Nesquehoning Historical Society on May 10 at 11 a.m.; Senior Games practice on May 11 at 10 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on May 12 at 10:45 a.m.; Women’s Pool on May 13 at 10:30 a.m.

Upcoming trip on July 14 to Sight & Sound to see David, call center for more information.

Pool, Skeeball, Cards, Games and Socialization available every day. New members always welcome.
