One person was injured Thursday morning in a crash in Tamaqua. The incident occurred at 11:45 a.m. as the driver was traveling south on North Railroad Street (Route 309) and lost control. The vehicle rolled, trapping the occupant. The victim was freed by members of the American Hose and East End fire companies, then treated and transported from the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance. Area fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. Tamaqua police are investigating the incident.
