St. John’s Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., will celebrate Music Sunday on May 1 during their 10:30 morning worship service. A special service of celebration will be presented by Grace Notes, a contemporary Christian music group from Christ Lutheran Church, Penn Forest.

Grace Notes was started six years ago by the Rev. John Hassler, pastor of Christ Lutheran. The group was started to fulfill a perceived need for a more contemporary style of music within their church community. All are welcome to this service at the South Avenue church.
