Alyssa Lamparelli of Palmerton was among the 17 University of Scranton students inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for communication majors. The national honor society was founded in 1985 to encourage high levels of scholarship and leadership in the field of communications. The University’s chapter was established in 1999.

Lamparelli is a senior marketing major at the Jesuit university.
