• Police cited a borough man for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an incident April 13 near the Tamaqua ABC Hi-Rise on East Broad Street.
Officers received a report of a man who was talking to himself near the apartment building at 9:46 p.m.
When they arrived, they spoke to Ralph M. Luchetta Jr., 35, who said he found a methamphetamine pipe near the property. While patting him down, Luchetta told officers that he had a crystal-like substance in a small bag, which he claimed he also found and ingested moments before police arrived.
• Tamaqua police cited a borough woman for disorderly conduct for allegedly playing loud music at her Schuylkill Avenue residence after midnight March 11.
Police said they were dispatched to the location at 12:40 a.m. for a report of a woman, Joanna Embry, 21, who was yelling and banging on doors. She told police she was playing loud music when the property manager started arguing with her.
Officers told Embry to turn the volume down so neighbors could sleep and Embry agreed. However, at 4:27 a.m. officers were called to the location again because Embry was again playing loud music.
