Marvin Schmidt, PA Jaycee of the Year for the third quarter, was elected to serve as president of the local organization during a meeting held in the Lehighton Elks Building.

The area Jaycees will have Kent Moyer as its internal vice president; Terry Stein, external vice president; and Fred Kemmerle, management development vice president.

Others who were elected to positions for 1983-84 are Joe Tartar, secretary; Rod Miller, treasurer; Mark Kopunek, state director; and Charles Kobal, Peter Castagnola, Howard Williams, Jeff Wenck, Kenneth Bretz, Don Rehrig, Terry Abrachinsky and John Eisenhower, directors.
