State police report on area thefts

Area state police report on the following thefts:

• A 95-year-old Towamensing Township woman is the victim of a theft being investigated by state police at the Lehighton.

The woman reported at 1:26 p.m. April 5 that someone stole $550 in cash from her bedroom at her home along 57 Drive.

• State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary that was reported at 11:51 a.m. Feb. 14.

A 30-year-old Gilbert man reported the break-in took place at his residence along Interchange Road.

• State police at Bethlehem are investigating the theft of $700 worth of lumber from a shed in Washington Township. A 60-year-old Slatington man told police someone accessed his shed that was located along Welshtown Road and removed 70 half-inch sheets of plywood.

• State police at Bethlehem are investigating the theft of a 10-ounce bar of silver from a Germansville woman at 8:56 a.m. April 7 at 6066 Memorial Road in Heidelberg Township.

The bar was valued at $320.21.

• State police at Stroudsburg are investigating a theft between Jan. 1 and April 12 at a motor home located in Hamilton Township.

A 74-year-old Tannersville man reported someone damaged a window and screen door on his 2004 Pride & Joy mini-motor home and stole two bottles of wine.

The motor home was located at the intersection of Middle Easton Belmont Pike and Gypsum Road in the township.
