The Rev. Carl C. Gray Jr. was installed yesterday as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill, which also served members from Lansford.

The ceremony was performed by Elder H. Wilson Scott, Philadelphia, moderator of the Lehigh Presbytery, and Elder Warren Strauss of Summit Hill, clerk of the session.

This will be Rev. Gray’s first pastorate. In June 1971, he completed studies at the Princeton Theological Seminary.

He succeeds the Rev. James Graham, who left the parish over three years ago.
