Palmerton man in I-78 crash

A Palmerton man was not injured when his vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle on Interstate 78 in Lower Saucon Township, according to state police at the Belfast barracks.

Police said Timothy K. Gursky, 38, was driving a 2011 International Harvester when he slowed down for traffic in front of him and was struck by a second International harvester operated by Patrick G. Robinson, 57, of Parlin, New Jersey. Police said both vehicles went onto the left shoulder where they came to a controlled stop.

Police said Robinson was cited for following too closely.
