A Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern train was brought to a halt along East Broad Street in Tamaqua just after 2 p.m. Tuesday. At least one of the cars appeared to have lost connection with the tracks near the crossing. Another engine was called to the scene in an attempt to move the disabled train. Traffic on East Broad Street, which is also Route 209, was detoured.
