Lehighton and Pottsville earned a split in their track meet on Monday.

Lehighton-Pottsville

Lehighton split its Schuylkill League matchup with Pottsville.

The Indians posted a 98-52 victory in the girls meet, while the Tide narrowly edged Lehighton 71-70 in the boys competition.

Brittney Bartasavage (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Haley Ginder (triple jump, high jump) both posted two individual wins for Lehighton, who swept four events (200, long jump. triple jump, pole vault).

The Indians also received wins from Taylor Bjorkman, Cecilia Sarnowski, Megan Hauser, Madylin Wolter, Megan Aaron and Isabella Mystkowski.

The Tribe boys gained event wins from seven different athletes (Ethan Buchert, Alexander Thomas, Owen Serfass, Brandon Hall, Richard Houser, Kurtis Gustafson, Joseph Roth) and also took two relays, but multiple victories from Tsirell Curry (110 hurdles, high jump) and Jason Fermaintt (100, long jump) paced Pottsville.
