Carbon County Sheriff’s Office nets 5 in warrant arrests

On April 4 and 5, the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Warrants Division apprehended five wanted fugitives throughout the county.

Apprehensions include:

• Chandler George, 27, was apprehended in the area of East Penn. Deputies attempted to make contact with George; however he was uncooperative with requests. He attempted to flee from a window and was later found hiding in a bedroom.

George was wanted on three revocation of parole warrants for simple possession, defiant trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Paula Pisechko, 56, was apprehended in the borough Lansford. Deputies working in collaboration with the Bucks County Probation Department were able to confirm the location of Pisechko, who was wanted on felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

• Jordan Trotta, 29, was apprehended in the borough of Summit Hill.

Trotta has been wanted for several months and was made aware of his revocation of bail felony warrant for interference with the custody of children; however Trotta continued to evade the custody and commit additional crimes in other jurisdictions within Pennsylvania and Delaware and will need to appear in those jurisdictions to answer for those charges.

Acting on tips from the community, deputies were able to locate Trotta and take him into custody.

• Crystal Michael, 39, was apprehended in Lehighton/Mahoning Township after a three-hour stand-off with the sheriff’s office.

Michael was wanted on felony possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI: controlled substance.

Acting on tips from the community, Michael was located but refused to make contact with deputies.

Deputies then executed a search warrant and following a methodical search found Michael hiding in an attic crawlspace concealed under insulation.

• Anthony Rivituso, 33, was apprehended in the same residence as Crystal Michael. He was wanted by the Schuylkill County Detectives Bureau of charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Dan Zeigler wanted to remind the public that the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office will work collaboratively with all local, state, and federal agencies to apprehend these individuals and bring them to justice.
