Conner G. Miller, 25, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough Police Officer Richard C. Bekesy with possession of marijuana, driving while his operating privileges were suspended or revoked, careless driving, and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker on April 1, 2021.

Miller failed to appear for a Sept. 21, 2021, hearing, and a bench warrant was issued.

Judge Charles M. Miller vacated the warrant and set bail at recognizance, meaning Conner G. Miller doesn’t have to post money or property.

Judge Miller imposed conditions, including that the defendant must stay at 143 Pine St., Tamaqua, and not move from there without notifying his attorney, the Clerk of Courts office, and the district attorney’s office; he must not operate a motor vehicle without being properly licensed; he must not possess or consume alcohol, controlled substances, or prescribed medication unless it is prescribed to him; he must apply for a public defender; he shall attend a status conference at the courthouse at 1:30 p.m. April 28 before President Judge Jacqueline L. Russell; he must not engage in criminal activity, and he must appear for all court proceedings.

Anthony Rivituso, 32, of Lansford, was charged by Tamaqua Police Officer Christopher J. Cordes, with use/possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 3, 2021.

A bench warrant was issued on Rivituso after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 22.

Judge Miller vacated the warrant and set bail at $2,500 percentage. He also imposed the following conditions:

Rivituso must live at 329 W. Kline Ave., Lansford, and not move from there without notifying his attorney, the Clerk of Courts office, and the district attorney’s office; he must not operate a motor vehicle without being properly licensed; he must be fingerprinted; he must not possess or consume alcohol, controlled substances, or prescribed medication unless it is prescribed to him; he must apply for a public defender; he shall attend a status conference at the courthouse at 1:30 p.m. April 28 before President Judge Jacqueline L. Russell; he must pay $213.81 for a bench warrant service fee and transportation; he must not engage in criminal activity, and he must appear for all court proceedings.

Christopher L. Hill, 34, New Ringgold, was charged by Trooper Michael J. Van Buskirk, of the Frackville Barracks, with retail theft on Feb. 29, 2020.

Judge Miller revoked Hill’s $15,000 unsecured bail and remanded him to the county prison. He has a status conference scheduled for 9 a.m. April 29 before Judge Christopher Hobbs.
