– Joe Weber hurls a complete game as Palmerton hits the win column in handing Notre Dame-Green Pond its first loss of the season by a 7-4 score. The winning pitcher fans eight Crusaders and walks four in his first varsity start on the hill. Palmerton comes from behind, using a four-run fourth and then adding two runs in the seventh on a home run by Ken Heinrich. Chris Lipfert goes 2-for-4 and scores two runs and Christian Marcin adds a base hit, scores a run and has an RBI for the winners.
