State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said they were summoned to Smithfield Township at 2:09 p.m. March 29 to investigate the theft of catalytic converters off vehicles.

Police said they were called to Adventure Sports, Seven Bridge Road, where converters were cut off two Ford passenger vans and two Chevrolet passenger vans.
