Lehighton Borough Council approved the following on Monday:
• Payment Request No. 2 in the amount of $90,098 for Blight Remediation Demolition Project.
• Blanski Energy Management Inc. proposal in the amount of $14,987 for preventive maintenance program for the Annex HVAC equipment.
• Hi-Tech Security Alarms proposal in the amount of $8,488 for additional cameras at the Grove with the assistance of the Light & Power Department.
• Keystone Consulting Engineers’ invoice in the amount of $2,510 for the engineering services for the demolition of 209 N. First St.
• Advertise for part-time patrol officers.
• Advertise Substation Transformer No. 2 for bid per the time table and recommendations of Utility Engineers.
• Advertise the retired ladder truck on Municibid upon delivery of new equipment.
• Advertise Truck No. 9, Ford F250 on Municibid.
• Scrap Police Car No. 4, 2008 Ford Expedition.
• Advertise the Summit Avenue Property for Municipal Sale of Real Estate.
• The Verizon Easement Agreement.
• A resolution establishing the current base purchased power cost for the PPAC.
• The Lehighton Fire Department to attend the FDIC International Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the new ladder truck from April 25-30.
• Keith Schnell’s resignation from the Police Civil Service Commission.
• Letter of interest from Mark Neid to fill vacancy on Police Civil Service Commission.
• Letter of interest from Duane Dellecker to fill vacancy on Police Civil Service Commission.
• Request from the Lehighton Water Authority to draft an ordinance requiring shared water lines be separated at the curb before the sale of a property.
• Memorial Mile Walk proposed from 9 to 11 a.m. May 22.
• The Lehighton Partnership proposal to have horse-drawn carriage rides on May 21, July 23 and during Rocktoberfest Oct. 8-9.
• The Lehighton Downtown Partnership’s Fireworks Display on July 4, pending the completion of Police Services Agreement.
• Request from Tim Snyder of TNT Auto Repairs LLC to hold a Friday Night Car Cruise May 6, and a car show June 18.
• Resolution for 2022 Police Record Destruction List.
• Resolution for 2022 Borough Record Destruction List.
