Marian and Pleasant Valley posted sweeps, while Lehighton split its meet with North Schuylkill in track action Monday.

The Colts and Fillies took down Shenandoah Valley, while the Bears downed Allen.

N. Schuylkill-Lehighton

Lehighton and North Schuylkill split its Schuylkill League meet, with the Indian girls earning a 96-54 victory and the Spartan boys narrowly taking a 76-70 decision.

Brittney Bartasavage (100H, 300H) and Haley Ginder (triple jump, high jump) both won two events for the Lehighton girls, who had eight different athletes earn firsts. Other wins came from Timara Klotz (200), Katie Wojton (400), Megan Hauser (shot put), Madison Brown (long jump) and Isabella Mystkowski (pole vault).

The Indian boys received two firsts from Ethan Buchert (100, 200), but North Schuylkill’s Justin Williams posted three wins (800, 1600, 3200) with Carl Brown adding a pair (long jump, high jump).

Marian swept Shenandoah Valley in Schuylkill League action, with the Fillies rolling to a 93-43 decision and the Colts cruising to a 94-27 victory.

Fatikha Tiktova won all three jumping events (long, triple, high) in the girls meet for Marian, while Grace Curnow (200, 400) and Emma Ashfield (800, 1600) both earned a pair of wins.

In the boys meet, the Colts received individual firsts from three different athletes. They included Jacob Fenstermaker (100, shot put), Alex Porambo (200, 400) and Michael Silliman (300H, long jump).

Schuylkill Haven gained a sweep of Panther Valley in a Schuylkill League meet.

The Panther girls hung tough, but dropped a 75-56 decision, while the Haven boys posted a 97-43 victory.

Melissa Ellis and Anna Schaeffer led the Hurricanes with a pair of individual wins, while Haven took all three relays. PV also received multiple wins from two of its athletes, as Makayla Weaver (100H, 300H) and Izabella Bochicchio (shot put, discus) both captured two events.

In the boys meet, the Panthers received multiple wins from Michael Pascoe (shot put, discus). Haven, however, received two wins from Calvin Munster, Carter Daniel and Gannon Walcott, while also sweeping the relays.

Pleasant Valley easily swept past Allen in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference meet.

The Bears won every event but two - one in the girls meet and one in the boys.

Reese Ruggiero captured three individual events (long jump, triple jump, pole vault) as the PV girls rolled to a 131-17 victory. Nemani Moon (200, 400), Hailey Klein (800, 1600) and De’Nair Drew (100H, 300H) all won two events.

In the boys meet, Patrick Moore (100, 200), Oluwafeola Olaniyan (110H, 300H) and Michael Meyers (long jump, triple jump) each won two events outright to help post a 120-24 victory.
